Through our webshop, privacy-sensitive data, or personal data, is processed. AyHair, operating under the trade name ProCompa B.V. with Chamber of Commerce number: 92145345, considers careful handling of personal data of great importance. Personal data is therefore processed and secured with care by us.
In our processing, we adhere to the requirements set by privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that:
- we clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data. We do this via this privacy statement;
- we limit our collection of personal data to only the personal data necessary for legitimate purposes;
- we first ask for your explicit consent to process your personal data in cases where your consent is required;
- we take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and also require this from parties who process personal data on our behalf;
- we respect your right to access, correct, or delete your personal data upon your request.
AyHair is the controller for the data processing. In this privacy statement, we explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose. We recommend that you read this carefully.
When you visit our webshop, various data is collected from you. This does not include names, email addresses, and phone numbers, but more technical data. Think of your IP address (anonymized!), cookies, and your browser data such as your browser type Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Firefox.
Your IP address and browser data are examples of what we use in Google Analytics. With this software, we can see how visitors like you use our webshop. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google to make arrangements about the handling of our data. Furthermore, we allow Google to access the obtained Analytics information when we request support from them. And if we have received your consent, Google Analytics temporarily links the data as described above to your Google Account, so that you will see personalized advertisements through remarketing.
When visiting and using our webshop, we thus obtain certain data from you. And this can be personal data. We store and use only the personal data that is directly provided by you, in the context of the service you requested, or which, when provided, is clearly intended for us to process.
Our webshop uses cookies. Cookies are also placed by third parties engaged by us. When you visit our webshop for the first time, a message is displayed explaining why we use cookies and which cookies you wish to accept.
We have made agreements with third parties who place cookies about the use of cookies and applications. However, we do not have full control over what the providers of these applications do with the cookies when they read them. For more information about these applications and how they handle cookies, please refer to the privacy statements of these parties (note: these may change regularly).
Do you want to delete or disable cookies? Please note that our webshop may no longer work optimally.
When you place an order with us, we need various data from you:
- Email address
- First name
- Last name
- Delivery and billing address
- Phone number
- Payment details
This data is necessary to receive payment and ensure that your order is delivered to your home. We ask for your email address so that we can send you a confirmation with an overview of your order, as well as the invoice. We use your phone number mainly to keep you informed of any changes regarding your order. We collect your IP address to exclude fraudsters from visiting our webshop.
If you place an order with us using an account (which you can also create during the ordering process), we store the data as long as you wish to keep your account. After all, the reason you created an account is probably because you do not want to fill in all the information again every time.
Additional data you can find in your account includes:
- Your previous orders;
- Your address book;
- Your wishlist;
- Your written product reviews.
We will not provide your personal data to third parties unless this is necessary for the execution of the agreement you enter into with us or if this is legally required. In the event of suspected fraud or misuse of our webshop, we may provide personal data to the competent authorities.
If you have questions, complaints, or feedback, you can call, email, or chat with us. To assist you as quickly and effectively as possible, we use various data from you. Initially, only your name, email address, and/or phone number. But if you have previously placed an order with us, we can also see your order history. This is linked to your email address. Saves looking up an order number!
Apart from the above data, you choose which data you share with us. The data you send us is kept for as long as necessary for the complete answering and handling of the form or the content of your email.
We regularly send a digital newsletter. This is not only a general newsletter (the same for everyone), but in many cases also a personalized newsletter. To determine the content, we ask for your interests and use your purchase history.
Do you want to unsubscribe from the newsletter? That's super easy! Open the last newsletter you received and click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom. Can't figure it out? Then a message to our customer service is also fine, but it will take a bit longer.
When you write a product review, the following data is published and thus visible to everyone:
- Name
- The review (which can contain anything)
In the review, you choose which information you publish. It is therefore possible that you can be identified through this. Upon request, we will of course anonymize the information you have published.
We also collect your email address if you are logged in and write a review. This way, you can always find the reviews you have written in your account. Your email address is not published.
Our webshop includes social media buttons. When you click on such a button, the relevant social media party places a cookie on your computer. To learn more about this, it is best to consult the privacy statement of the social media platform itself:
- Facebook
- Instagram
- Tiktok
We take security measures to limit misuse and unauthorized access to personal data. Think of an SSL connection, logging of access to personal data, and access to personal data that is limited both digitally and physically.
Unless otherwise stated above, we keep your personal data for as long as necessary to process your order, including warranty. After that, we keep data for a maximum of 3 years for the described statistical purposes. The data is then deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer retention (such as the fiscal retention obligation of seven years for payment data).
This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that are connected to our webshop via links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data reliably or securely. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of these websites before using them.
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is advisable to consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.

Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We keep a record of processed requests; in the case of a forget request, we administer anonymized data. You always have the right to have the data that we (have) process(ed) and that relates to your person or can be traced back to it, executed by another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data about you that we have processed or have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf to the email address known to us. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue the service in such a case, as the secure linking of databases can no longer be guaranteed.
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of AyHair. If you object, we will immediately stop the data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or copies of data that we (have) process(ed) available to you and then permanently stop the processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies.
